Seekers’
Class
11:00
a.m. to noon :
Studying
the Book of Acts. Led by Lynn Vogt.
Reaching
for the Invisible God
Based
on Philip Yancey’s Reaching for the Invisible God . Six areas
of faith and struggle will be explored: 1. our thirst for God, 2. faith
during times when God seems unavailable, 3. the nature of God, 4. our
personal relationship with God, 5. stages along the way, and 6. the
end goal of spiritual transformation. Led
by Ann Ziegel.

series on “Talking About God.” Leaders are Berman Layer and Jim Pitchford.
Tuesday
Women's
Bible Study
Every
Tuesday from 9:30-11:00 at the church. The group meets to discuss, question,
and understand the word of God and to provide support and encouragement
to one another. Led by Wanda Heiney and Diana Marcott.

Chose The Nails
A
12-week study by Max Lucado is being offered beginning Thursday, September
11 th from 7:00 – 9:00 pm, meeting at the home of Joyce Foster and Jerry
Deisher.
In
addition to the classes above that are always open to new attenders, there
are also classes that can only accept new members periodically because
of the nature of the class.
DISCIPLE
BIBLE I: Becoming Disciples through
Bible Study -- our basic Bible overview class, a 34-week study
This class requires approximately 30 minutes of reading a day, six-days
a week, to read approximately 75% of the Bible plus the student manual.
Format is video presentation and discussion.
DISCIPLE
BIBLE III: Remember Who You Are
-- A 32-week study of The Prophets and The Letters of Paul available
to adult and youth who are graduates of DISCIPLE: BECOMING DISCIPLES
THROUGH BIBLE STUDY. It calls students to disciplined Bible study that
will result in a ministering community nourished by Scripture.
DISCIPLE
IV: Under the Tree of Life-- A 32-week
study of Old Testament Writings and the Gospel of John; 1,2,3 John;
James; Jude and Revelation in the New Testament. Available to adult
and youth graduates of Disciple: Becoming Disciples Through
Bible Study. It continues to call people to serious, disciplined
Bible study that will result in development of biblically nourished
servant-leaders.
