We (Jerry, Mary Helen, Penny and Tom) arrived at Red Bird at approximately 4:30 PM.  The drive was uneventful.  We saw some friends that we have made over the last few years.  We saw Tom Bowman who used to attend Parkview.

The 7:00 PM Devotional time was real Inspirational.  About when GOD wants you to do something, he will continue to work on you until you do it.

On Monday, after Devotions and Breakfast, we met Mike, who is our crew leader. We proceeeded to Donnie's house to put siding on the house and trim.  Brad and Sherry arrived at about noon.  We really worked well as a team.

We accomplished quite a bit.  The weather was absolutely gorgeous.  The trees were beautiful to see.

On Tuesday, after Devotions and Breakfast, we proceeded back to Donnie's house where we continued putting up siding, trim and painting.  We finished up about 2:00 PM just as it started to rain.

Wednesday was a free day, we drove around sightseeing and taking picture of the Senior Center and a Dumpster with some interesting pictures.  But, before we went sightseeing we went to Chapel at the Red Bird Mission School.  They showed a movie on Red Bird Mission and what they do in the area.  We ate lunch at Pine Mountain Lodge, a State Park.  Then we went to Walmart to pick up supplies for Talent Night.  After supper we attended a free concert at the school.

Thursday we worked on a roof for the medical clinic.  We sat around a camp fire waiting for the Volunteer Fire Department to sell ice cream.  We then performed for Talent Night.
