How does a Christian learn more about Jesus, the Bible, Christianity, themselves? How do we grow spiritually? If Jesus is about salvation and grace, what do our actions and choices have to do with spiritual growth?
- Actually, both Scripture and over 2000 years of tradition have much to offer to answer those questions, and Parkview exists to connect our community to that journey:
Upward: focusing on God, through God’s Son, Jesus Christ, through prayer, through Scripture, through love in action
Inward: by examining ourselves, our own spirit, attitudes, actions through the light of Scripture, tradition, community; through spiritual practices, both ancient and modern
Outward: attempting to follow the example of Christ in our interactions in our daily lives, our relationships, our choices, our service, our commitments beyond our personal world, through the power and guidance of the Holy Spirit
