Core Values
The things we try to live up to in our behavior; the choices we desire to have priority in our life together...

Vital Faith
We value a vital, growing, personal relationship with Jesus that is fueled with a dynamic prayer and devotional life.  We are committed to developing people toward spiritual maturity.

Grace Filled Community

We are committed to living with each other in a Christ-centered environment of encouragement and forgiveness motivated by love and thankfulness to God.  We desire loving relationships to permeate every aspect of our life together.

God-Listening Community
We value being a community under the authority of Jesus as revealed in the Bible and through the leading of the Holy Spirit.  We aim to take all things to God in prayer, seeking God’s guidance before decisions are made.  We are committed to acting according to what we believe we are hearing.

Spirit-Empowered Ministry
Every believer is called by God and empowered for ministry.  We are committed to helping people listen and recognize God’s invitation to join God’s work.  We are committed to helping people develop their Spiritual Gifts and abilities for ministry, so that in obedience we will be fruitful and fulfilled in our unique places in the body of Christ.

Radical Hospitality
God desires a vital, growing, personal relationship with every person.  Therefore, we intend to seek and welcome people across race, age, gender, and class.  We intend an outward focus in a culturally relevant way.  Our desire is to walk along side people in non-judgmental ways as together we come to life and maturity in Christ.

Passionate Worship
Because of God’s unconditional love for us in Jesus, we are committed to loving God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength; to loving others as Christ loves us; and to enjoying God’s love.  In our worship, we desire to experience an intimate, loving relationship with God.  We strive to offer our best to God, so Jesus is exalted in everything!

Core Beliefs
The principles of faith that matter most in our life together; what we believe is important to the welfare of the world…

We Believe God is Love
God is the living  creator, active in human life, who created people in God’s image.  God loves all people and desires to live in intimate relationship with each person.  Everything we have and are is given as a trust from God.  God speaks to us, hears us, and has a purpose for our lives.

Jesus is the Savior of for World
God loves the world so much that He came in the person of Jesus, His Son, so all people could know God’s love for them and accept God’s gift for restoring us to relationship with Him.  Jesus died on the cross as an act of God’s unlimited love and forgiveness, taking upon himself the sins of the world.  As resurrected and still living Savior, Jesus overcomes the power of evil and death.

The Holy Spirit is the Power of God With Us
The Holy spirit is the power of God and the presence of Jesus among us, everywhere, all the time.  The Holy Spirit renews and transforms our lives and grows us in a right relationship with God.  The Holy Spirit gives us the assurance of God’s love and of eternal life.

People Need Jesus
Evil in the world and self-centeredness in the human heart have damaged the image of God in which human beings were created.  As a result, we live in broken relationship with God.  We damage one another, the natural world, and ourselves.  This is Sin.  We need Jesus so God’s forgiveness and Spirit can restore us to the relationships of love God intends.

God Intends For All Christians:

  • To Know God’s Love By Experience
Experiencing God’s freely given, unearned love (grace) is to be expected by all who seek a relationship with Jesus.

  • To Grow to Become Like Jesus The goal of the Christian’s life is for our lives to be conformed to Jesus’ life, growing in our knowledge and love of God, and in love for all people.

  • To be Involved in Ministry All believers are called by God and given spiritual gifts for joining in God’s work in the world.

  • The Bible is the Word of God. It is the Word of God through which God reveals Himself to us.  The Old and New Testaments are the source and measure of all valid Christian teaching.

  • The Church is the Body of Christ in and for the World. The Church is a community under Jesus’ rule.  The task of the church is to reach out, connect, and build a new community of fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ.

  • Eternal Life is a Promise of God. People who live life in a relationship with Jesus will live eternally with God. Therefore, life is to be lived in hope.
